Jezusfuck, when did this get this many notes?!
“Nighty night Artie.” Claudia said as she once again drifted off into dreamland.
This time, Artie woke up on his own, again utterly blanket-less and freezing. Not that he cared about that, Claudia was warm and -face facts- he had his personal layer of fat to keep him cosy enough.
ooc: I have to go sleep now, so goodnight indeed!
Claudia woke up when she felt someone move. Cracking open her eyes she frowned when she saw that Artie was up. “What’re you up for? It must still be pretty early.” She questioned.
ooc: nighty night! <3
“‘mhungry,” he muttered, “and it’s never too early for a cookie.” He picked up his fallen glasses, and hobbled into the kitchen.
“And I’m not asking if you want some because I know you do!”
“Thanks Artie. And chocolate chip if we have it!”
“Obviously…”, he shouted from the other room, “Since there are no Oatmeal Scotchies anyway, those are the best pick left!”

“Hey I am not a klepto! There was only that…ya know what forget I said anything. But she keeps them in the closet by the stairs.” Claudia said.
“Hmm-hmm, sure. I do, however, not feel like getting up.”
Claudia grumbled something under her breath before going to the closet and getting him a blanket. “Here.” She said throwing it at him.
He caught it easily, but also grabbed on to her blanket, claiming both. “What- I am tired, so I am allowed to be childish. Also, following your reasoning I am so very ancient I could become a child again.”
“Artie that doesn’t even make sense. Now gimme the blanket back.” Claudia said reaching out for it.
“Nah.”
“Jerk.” Claudia pouted as she plopped back down on the couch.
“Ow, jerks have feelings too, you know…”, he pouted right back, throwing one of the blankets right onto her head. The fresh and cold one, of course.
“Whatever. I’m going back to sleep.” Claudia said as she pulled the blanket over herself and snuggled into the couch, sending a glare Artie’s way.
“‘s not like you won’t steal this blanket as well, eh”, Artie mumbled.
“Goodnight, yet again.”

“Solid idea.” Claudia said as she snuggled into the couch and closed her eyes. “Night Artie.” She said, just before drifting off to sleep.
“Night Claude”, he said, dozing off just as easily.
Claudia woke a few hours later, nearly freezing cold. She pulled the blanket over herself and went to turn over, but forgetting that she was on the couch landed on the floor. “Shit!” Claudia said when her head hit the floor. “Oww.” She groaned out, lying on the floor.
“Wha- what, Claudia. Claudiareyouokay?!”, Artie nearly screamed, barely realising where he was. Then, realizing she had only tipped over onto the floor -she had also claimed all of the blanket- he reached out to give her a hand.
“Fine. Well my head hurts pretty bad but other than that I’m fine.” Claudia said as she pulled herself up with Artie’s hand. Getting back up on the couch she took the blanket and wrapped it around herself.
Artie made it as far to stare blankly at her for two seconds before bursting out in laughter -that is, to-Artie’s-standards-an-outburst. “Okay, do you know where Leena keeps her spare blankets, little kleptomaniac?”
